Especially for Children in Eden Prairie, on the border of Minnetonka and Chanhassen, seeks an early childhood professional to join our teaching team. EFC has nine twin cities locations which are NAEYC Accredited and Four Star Parent Aware rated. EFC is locally owned and was founded in 1976. Teachers at Especially for Children make lasting connections with children, families and each other. Our educational philosophy is centered on The Creative Curriculum, a play-based learning curriculum that allows teachers and children to explore and pursue their unique interests.

We seek a team member who:

• Relates positively with young children and families
• Have previous experience working with children in a school, daycare or childcare setting (preferred but not required)
• Has a CDA or college credits in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred but not required)
• Is passionate about providing quality care and learning opportunities as well as a safe environment for young children
• Plans and implements lesson plans and a daily classroom schedule
• Works cooperatively with other team members
