INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN

Low voltage transit installation project

Work will include removal and installation of BNR kits on 99 Ticket Vending Machines along SFRTA's line near Miami.

Job duties will include :

Identifying correct electronic components and cables

Removal of old electronic components

Installation of new equipment and components

Ensuring system powers up correctly

Assisting with troubleshooting if needed

Cleaning work areas

Skills required :

Low voltage electrical background preferred but not needed

Experience with hand and power tools

Ability to work standing, bending, or crouching for long periods of time

Ability to follow directions and complete tasks in a timely manner

Must commit to entire length of project

Must be reliable to show up on daily basis and be on time

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Work Schedule : Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Start Date : 4 / 8 / 2024

End Date : Approximately 5 weeks

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Class 2 safety vest

Safety glasses

Work gloves

Must have your own tools : Wrench and socket set up to 9 / 16, 20v Drill / 2 batteries / Charger, Flat Head and Phillips Screwdrivers,

Salary : $28.00 an hour
