INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN
Low voltage transit installation project
Work will consist of removal of old electronic equipment and components, installing new equipment/components, Will need to have experience with mounting equipment/components. Candidates will need to have previous electronics/electromechanical /construction /trades experience.
Job duties will include:
Identifying correct electronic components and cables
Removal of old electronic components and cables
Installation of new equipment and components
Running new cables
Terminating connectors
Terminating to power sources
Securing wiring after work completed
Ensuring system powers up correctly
Assisting with troubleshooting if needed
Cleaning work areas
Skills required:
Low voltage electrical background preferred
Experience with electronic components
Experience with electrical connectors and terminations
Experience with hand and power tools
Experience running cables or wiring
Ability to work standing, bending, or crouching for long periods of time
Ability to follow directions and complete tasks in a timely manner
Must commit to entire length of project
Must be reliable to show up on daily basis and be on time
Must have own tools: Socket set/Wrench set up to 9/16, flush cutters, utility knife, 20v Drill with two batteries and charger, and head lamp.
Current Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm (possible weekends)
Please note that random drug and alcohol screening will be conducted
Entry Level Candidates salary will be discussed during interview.
