ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicate with the Production Manager and provide updates on daily/weekly tasks and goals.
  • Supervise employee activities while ensuring safety and high-quality standards are met.
  • Lead and motivate a team of production workers to meet production goals and quality standards.
  • Estimates resources and material requirements based on the production plan and sales forecasts.
  • Coach and mentor employees to improve performance and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Implement production schedules to ensure targeted daily production volume is met.
  • Foster a positive work environment and build strong relationships with employees and other supervisors. Supervise employee activities while complying with safety and high-quality standards.
  • Responsible for estimating staff and material requirements based on the production plan and sales forecasts.
  • Implement production schedules to ensure targeted daily production volume is met. Establish and adjust procedures to meet the production schedule.
  • Monitor equipment and performance in work areas to ensure production requirements are met. Coordinate with VP of Operations repairs and opportunities to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure high levels of productivity and continuous improvement. Produce optimum output to exceed KPIs.
  • Train new employees to enable them to assume the duties and responsibilities of their assigned positions. Promote a high level of performance, discipline, and morale.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance of subordinates. Recommend and implement personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to lead and motivate staff.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in business or management preferred
  • Industry and management experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
