Logistics Analyst Intern duties include but not limited to assisting the analyst with the below job duties. Analyzes, organizes, plans and administers various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more programs using established procedures. Analyzes standard contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements. Develops logistics plans in order to enhance distribution of goods and supplies. Follows established policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control. * Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times. Ensuring FIFO processes are adhered to in warehouse storage. Participates in the development of functional strategy and may be responsible for global processes and procedures. Must exhibit good communication practices with other logistics departments within KBR and the US Government depots. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures to ensure a Zero Harm work environment. Maintains metrics critical to the project and present results to leadership and customers per the established MOS. Must be able to prioritize and ensure multiple tasks are simultaneously performed to meet program objectives. Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: US Citizen High School Diploma Must be enrolled in an undergraduate coursework in a degree program at an accredited university. Logistics, General Business Student Must be a Rising Junior or Senior Work Schedule: Estimated at 20-30 hours/week with flexibility to accommodate intern’s education. Knowledge in using Microsoft tools: Excel (familiar with basic formulas) and Power Point. Good at Multi-tasking. Strong communication skills Other duties as assigned.
