Eye Surgery Center of Chattanooga is looking for a Pre- Admission Testing RN to join our Chattanooga team!

POSITION SUMMARY
The RN-Preadmission Testing position is responsible for the coordination of surgical procedures with scheduling/check-in/insurance and the performance and validation of patient medical histories. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Current Tennessee RN license; BLS required; Two (2) years’ experience in a clinical setting required. All employees must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Ability to utilize resources in a timely, organized and cost-effective manner.
Good computer skills including use of standard office programs
Ability to operate standard office equipment
Ability to speak, read, and write in English
Ability to work well under pressure and accept additional assignments willingly
Ability to work flexible hours as needed to accommodate workload
Ability to concentrate, think, and learn
Ability to hear, see, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, lift, push and pull
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Must possess updated licensure for state in which facility is located. Two (2) years of clinical experience preferred, with emphasis in PACU, surgery, or ER; IV skills required. BLS required. ACLS required. All employees must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.
