Escapology Escape Rooms Cedar Rapids is Hiring a Game Master/Host Near Rapids, IA
The Game Master position enables customers to enjoy their escape room experience by either providing clues/hints to help them solve puzzles or briefing customers on how to play the games. The Host is responsible for making every customer feel welcome at the door, engaging them in friendly conversation, giving the rules of the game, and making sure they have an enjoyable experience from walking in the door to walking out.
Game Master/Host General Responsibilities
- Perform activities that facilitate the customer service experience (meeting and greeting customers; customer check in; pre-game service; running multiple games at once; interacting with customers; post-game experience).
- Troubleshoots and resolves customer issues.
- Perform general tasks around the venue to assist in its operation.
- Deliver an excellent and professional customer service experience to customers.
- Maintain safety standards.
- Cleaning area in and around venue.
- Added tasks as necessary.
Game Master/Host Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Service orientation with ability to speak to groups with confidence.
- Ability to multi-task and manage high-pressure situations.
- Ability to work well with a team.
- Takes initiative; will complete tasks without prompting.
- Positive attitude, personable, and fun.
General Job Information
