Primary Purpose: Implement a district health services program to best meet the needs of the student population on theassigned campus. Provide health services to students. Promote health and safety education forstudents and preventive health practices for students.Qualifications: Education/Certification: Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education programValid registered nurse license (RN) from the Texas Board of NursingCurrent automatic external defibrillator (AED) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificatesSpecial Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of health appraisal to identify student health defectsAbility to implement policies and proceduresKnowledge of basic first aidProficient keyboarding and file maintenance skillsAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsExperience: 2 years of nursing experience
