Position: Two (2) full time Grant Implementation Manager
Salary: $73,500, STRS/SERS, fringe benefits
Calendar: 205 days 
POSITION SUMMARY: The Grant Implementation Manager will work closely with school leadership teams to support the coordination of the School Improvement Plan and Academic Achievement Plan along with vendor selections and professional development opportunities in our CSI and ATSI schools. CMSD schools share the common goal of dramatically improving student outcomes in academic environments with high quality teaching. The Grant Implementation Manager will report directly to the Executive Director of Academics. Candidates must bring an unwavering commitment and high expectations for the success of all students and demonstrated knowledge of how to increase the quality and impact of curriculum and instruction. With direction from the Executive Director of Academics, he or she will help create a climate of accountability and one that values measurable high-quality teaching and learning. The Grant Implementation Manager will apply his/her practical experience and skills to create conditions for learning in which students succeed academically, socially and emotionally. As part of the instructional leadership team at each school, The Grant Implementation Manager will do whatever it takes to dramatically improve student performance. Duties/Responsibilities:
 
1. Provide support in the areas of curriculum, instruction, development, and grant implementation.
2. Visit classrooms to provide support and assist building leaders with monitoring adult implementation outlined in the Academic Achievement Plan.
3. Provide teachers with ideas, feedback, and instructional tools or techniques to read, understand, interpret, and use student achievement data.
4. Have a deep understanding of the cognitive demands of Ohio state standards and be able to provide exemplars of what students should know and do as prescribed by the standards.
5. Support schools with identifying any gaps between the daily student assignments and provided exemplars.
6. Meet with the building principal on a regular basis to ensure that teachers' professional challenges or instructional needs are being addressed with appropriate professional development and support in alignment with the Academic Achievement Plan.
7. Routinely meet with building leadership teams to ensure that teachers are equipped with all materials necessary to deliver rigorous instruction in alignment with the Academic Achievement Plan.
8. Work with educators to ensure appropriate support is provided for students in need of academic intervention.
9. Collaborate with Network Support Teams, Teaching and Learning, and Student Services on the supports provided to CSI and ATSI schools.
