Job Title: Screen Printing Technician

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Mix of ink to prescribed ratios per work instructions
• Screen product per provided drawings and/or work instructions
• Clean mixing and screening equipment
• Use of silkscreen equipment
• Surface preparation of products to be screened by manual and mechanical means.

• Must be able to read, write and comprehend English.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Responsible for operating screen printing equipment and assisting with R&D projects.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained at all times.
• Work with supervisor/team leads to manage and prioritize work assignments to ensure schedules are met.
• Tend to silk screening machine, screens and ink viscosity during runs.
• Set up - load framed silk screen onto the machine, adjusts work piece fixture, stops, guides, using hand tools, ruler, and workpiece pattern. Batch mix inks, apply to screen & adjustments.
• Use basic problem-solving skills to ensure the stable operation of the equipment.
• Report problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment, materials and labor to the Production Supervisor.
• Observe the silkscreen and workpiece to detect any defects during the run.
• Machine and area clean up – inks stores, screens cleaned & stored, press & area cleaned.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to frequently stand, walk, reach with hands and arm's length, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
• Specific vision requirements include close vision and color vision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
