Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic Automotive Service Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive service and excellent communication skills. As a Service Writer, you will be the liaison between customers and our service department, ensuring a seamless experience from check-in to check-out. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to upsell services and products, maximizing revenue while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assess their service needs.
• Write accurate service orders and communicate repair/maintenance needs to technicians.
• Provide estimates for services and communicate with customers regarding costs and timelines.
• Upsell additional services, parts, and accessories to meet customer needs and increase revenue.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of automotive services, products, and promotions.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Automotive Service Writer or similar role preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Sales-oriented mindset with a proven track record of upselling.
• Proficiency with computer software and systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
