We are seeking an Outpatient Therapy Schedulerto join our team!

Responsible for the coordination of scheduling of all outpatient services to ensure the needs of the
patients, their families and the staff are being met. This includes initial and recurrent appointments,
insurance verification and business office functions. Prepares charts for coding with medical records,
performs daily communication with physician offices, schedules staff in coordination with the inpatient
scheduler and prepares daily activity reports to appropriate parties.

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year experience of clerical experience required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

• Two years of experience in a Medical setting preferred.
• Basic computer operations: Excel, Microsoft Office and Word preferred
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and insurance guidelines preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
