Job Summary:
The Regional Manager reports to the Executive Director of Corporate and Community Health and is responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of new corporate ventures which include establishing medical practices for Erlanger's corporate accounts. The Regional Manager will provide daily oversight for operations as each practice is established and until such time that the practice is staffed, and is producing at a reasonable growth rate. As the network develops the Manager will establish a supervisor to run day to day operations which will become a direct report to the Regional Manager. Additionally, they will assess and provide recommendations on an ongoing basis for practice improvement as requested by the ED. The Regional Manager will provide financial oversight for all corporate clinics including the development of operational and capital budgets (to be reviewed by the Executive Director) and assist in practice acquisitions and start ups. The RM will assist in the development of patient centered care teams to ensure that the practice is well positioned from day one to provide high quality care in a safe, effective and efficient manner. The RM will support the ED in strategic planning and execution of new initiatives. The Manager recruits, hires and oversees the training and orientation for all clinical and clerical staff and provides ongoing supervision and evaluation of clerical support staff. The ongoing supervision and evaluation of clinical staff is shared with the physician/advance practitioners in the practice. Administrative responsibilities include tracking monthly clinical and financial statistics, monitoring billing and collection functions, maximizing patient flow and optimizing the work environment to facilitate open communications and professional excellence.
This position is involved in a team-based approach to care. Team members are trained to meet the highest level of function for their role as per the State of Tennessee/Georgia guidelines. Is trained and assigned (as per their role and responsibilities) to coordinate care for patients and is trained and assigned to support patients/families/caregivers in self-management, self-efficacy and behavior change. Is trained and assigned (as per their role and responsibilities) to manage the practices� patient population. Participates in the practice's quality improvement process and performance evaluation.

Minimum 3-5 years experience in business management, with strong financial and systems background, and strong marketing experience.
Working knowledge of physician office practices, managed care operations and insurance industry structure and products desired.
Advanced PC skills in Microsoft Office products. Experience with GE Flowcast and Centricity.
Preferred:
Practice management/billing experience. Physician Coding Experience. Previous experience with practice acquisitions and/or startups. Previous experience with preventive care initiatives and working with corporate partners.

Department Position Summary:
The Regional Manager works with the ED to plan, execute and sustain new corporate health care clinics. THE RM works with staff to create a culture of improvement and service excellence. Additionally, this position will have oversight of daily operations of one or more corporate health clinics to include supervision of medical office supervisor (for larger clinics) and the administrative staff (smaller clinics). This includes registration, cash collection, charge preparation, medical record documentation, referral/authorizations, related insurance and coding processes. These responsibilities include hiring, termination, training and annual competencies as well as the disciplinary process as needed. This position will promote teamwork and facilitate a smooth flow of daily operations of the practice and ensures superior customer service daily by interacting with all internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner. The RM will assist in the development of capital and operational budgets and will monitor monthly variances from the budget and implement corrective action. This position will be responsible for maintaining standards set forth by TJC and coordinating QI initiatives within the practices including adherence to regulatory requirements.
