Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our practice, with the opportunity to buy in. You will be expected to provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Duties:
- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Provide preventive dental care including cleanings, sealants, and fluoride treatments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other dental professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique in all procedures
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities
Skills:
- Proficient in performing vital signs and medical documentation
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and adherence to HIPAA regulations
- Familiarity with dental office operations and Dentrix dental software
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex dental procedures to patients
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
Qualifications:
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- CPR certification
-1 to 2 years experience or completion of an accredited residency program is preferred but not required
