Position overview: The Palletizer position is responsible for building pallets, stacking finished product (trenches and grates) into pallets and preparing all items for safe shipment.

Responsibilities:

· Follow all safety processes and procedures

· Follow customer orders to avoid waste and rework

· Work consistently to meet daily production output goals

· Build pallets

· Efficiently stack pallets with finished products (trenches and grates)

· Prepare pallets for shipment

Qualifications:

· At least 1 year of manufacturing or shipping & receiving experience preferred but not required

· Dependability and reliability to report to work are a must

· Must be able to work overtime as required

· Must be able to read customer orders

· Must be able to read a tape measure

· Must be at least 18 years of age

· Bilingual (English and Spanish, both oral and written) is a plus

· Must pass a drug screen and background check

· Must be authorized to work in the United States

Education:

· High school diploma or GED preferred

Supervisory requirements:

· None

Competencies:

· Ability to successfully use a variety of hand tools

· Ability to work at a moderate to fast pace to keep up with production demands

· Ability to understand verbal and written instructions

· Ability to withstand extreme temperatures (hot and cold)

· Ability to stand/walk/crouch for duration of shift (up to 10 hours)

· Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
