Your role:

The Non-Destructive Evaluations (NDE) Engineer III supports the LASSO contract located on Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, FL.

This position is considered a mid-level engineering position. Typical responsibilities include designing and developing plans, processes, and procedures; functional and data requirements analyses; system analyses; documentation preparation for complex systems; and non-destructive evaluations (NDE).

NDE engineers must maintain ASNT Level II certifications for various nondestructive testing methods.

 

What you’ll do all day:

May be required to provide guidance to less experienced engineers. Engineering disciplines include mechanical, electrical, aerospace, propulsion, structures, materials, corrosion, nondestructive evaluation thermal, fluids, chemical, computer, software, avionics, environmental, industrial, civil, systems, safety, quality, and reliability.

Minimum requirements for this position:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • 5 years of related experience
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants
