Your role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Intern located at the Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, FL. This part-time position will support research and testing in the Applied Chemistry Laboratory (ACL) on the LASSO II contract. Work will primarily be performed onsite at the Kennedy Space Center. 

What you’ll do all day:

• Work as part of a team to support testing of novel plasma systems.
• Support data collection and materials analysis for various laboratory projects.
• Support meetings and provide findings to research team members and stakeholders.

Minimum requirements for this position:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program leading to a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a Physical Sciences discipline.
• Hands on experience with laboratory hardware and equipment.
• Proficient in MS Office tools, including Teams, Excel, and OneNote.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants.
