THE OPPORTUNITY : 

This is a full-time, in-office, position M-F 8am-5pm, with additional hours as business needs require. 

We’re looking for a Staff Accountant with a minimum of 2 years experience. A great fit will be someone detail oriented and efficient, who is also excited to work for a company that promotes culture, engagement, and continuous improvement. If this sounds like you, please keep reading! 

THE PERFECT FIT :

Detail Oriented 

The candidate will fastidiously review and input accounting data. This person should have an innate aspiration to perform each task with accuracy and perfection.

Team Player

The ideal candidate will collaborate and communicate effectively with multiple departments. We’re looking for an individual who can contribute to our interactive culture of ideas, impact, and genius and have fun while doing it. 

Long-Term

We’re not looking for someone who’s half-invested. Our team is growing FAST and we want you to grow with us. The right candidate will be looking to contribute for the long haul.

THE DAY TO DAY :

• Create and send invoices to clients once orders have been shipped and fulfilled. 
• Input bills into QuickBooks. 
• Perform monthly bank, credit card, and general ledger account reconciliations. 
• Maintain records of financial transactions to adhere to internal controls. 
• Assist in the preparation of the income statement and balance sheet.
• Assist in completing the month-end close on a timely basis.
• Adhere to GAAP and ensure proper ethical standards are performed. 
• Assist in continuously improving accounting department processes. 

THE VITALS:

• Accounting - 2 years of experience required
• QuickBooks - 1 year of experience preferred
• Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• The ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects as needed 50 lbs.
• Ability to work and look at a computer screen for extended hours per day.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for consecutive hours.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must complete drug screen upon hire
• Clean criminal record
• The ability to speak/read English fluently
