Purpose of the Role
To ensure faulty/damaged equipment is repaired in a timely fashion, reporting any reoccurring faults to the Manager. Maintain a stock of common spare parts for all stocked products.

You will be working in a fast-paced international business across multiple time zones, therefore it is important that you have the following Skills and Experience:

· Ability to fault find electronics down to component level using appropriate testing tools and procedures

· Ability to solder PCBs utilising through hole and surface mount components.

· Computer literate and able to use equipment tracking applications such as google workspace.

· Ability to work alone, as part of a team or working under pressure to meet deadlines.

· 2 Year’s Experience in diagnosing electrical and mechanical systems, ideally within the entertainment industry, such as moving light servicing.

· 2 Year’s Experience in repairing PCBs down to component level.

· Experience with keeping stock/service records up to date on a rental management system or similar software.

· Ability to work with most common hand tools.

· Experience with pumps, motors and hoists preferred.

· A basic understanding of 3D CAD software such as Fusion 360/AutoCAD/Solid works or similar preferred.

· A basic understanding of electrical design software such as Eagle/KiCAD/Altium or similar preferred.

· Occasionally go to site locations for diagnostics or repairs if needed.

As a Repair Technician your responsibilities will include:

· Be responsible for undertaking the repair of all faulty equipment.

· Ensure all commonly used spares are stocked at all times so that repairs can be completed without lengthy delivery times causing equipment to be out of action for too long.
