*This position is located in our Westlake, OH office but eligible for a hybrid remote schedule.JOB SUMMARY: The Operations Training Specialist performs technical/financial training for the Operations and Investment teams, which includes new hire training, ongoing skills training, individual and group coaching, system enhancement training, and training on legislative changes. Collaborates with management and business unit teams to identify opportunities for operational efficiency and process improvements, while always focusing on the client experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Prepares associates to perform job functions by planning, conducting, and evaluating trainingPlans, conducts, and evaluates new hire training to prepare new associates to perform essential job functionsCreates and updates training material for the Operations and Investments departments and ensures alignment with company processes and business needsConducts training needs assessment by collecting information on work procedures, workflow, and reports Conducts job- and company-specific trainingIdentifies training needs by observations, interviews, and audit findingsEstablishes and enforces organizational standardsEvaluates specific job function training and updates as needed Assists with procedural updates for the Investment and Operations teamsCollaborates and cross-trains with other Training SpecialistsAssists with “floating support” for new hiresAssumes role as back-up in cross-functional responsibilitiesOTHER FUNCTIONS:Evaluates current processes and systems to identify gaps or create efficiencies and process improvementsDevelops and maintains appropriate job procedures Performs other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:Education and Experience:Associate degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferredMinimum 2 years of experience in corporate trainingMinimum 2 years of experience in operations preferred Minimum 2 years of experience in financial services preferred PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:Professional training facilitation certification preferredTECHNICAL SKILLS:Proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteBEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:In addition to the core company competencies of Cultivates Innovation, Nimble Learning, Action Oriented, Collaborates and Being Resilient: Business InsightInterpersonal SavvyBuilds NetworksCommunicates EffectivelyPHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:This job operates in a professional office environment.
