Equipment Source Inc. is Hiring a Marketing Coordinator Near Anchorage, AK

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic marketing team at Equipment Source Inc. (ESI). Our Marketing Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and elevating ESI’s brand presence both online and offline. This role involves coordinating marketing campaigns, producing high-quality marketing materials, and ensuring brand consistency across all platforms and marketing channels. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, an upbeat, engaging personality, and is excited about a growing locally-owned company.

Key Responsibilities:

· Brand Management: Work with the Marketing and PR Manager to develop and implement tactics to enhance the ESI brand's visibility and reputation and support the brand strategy. Ensure brand consistency in all marketing efforts across various channels, including digital, print, equipment branding, and social media. This includes, but not limited to, digital marketing initiatives, community engagement, and partnerships.

· Content Production: Assist in the production of marketing materials, including signage, spec sheets and sales support material, decals, banners, digital content (even at -40F! occasionally), and promotional items. Prioritize alignment with brand voice and target audiences in content development. Work closely with graphic designers, videographers, and other creative professionals to produce high-quality content.

· Marketing Campaigns: Collaborate with the Marketing and PR Manager to design and execute effective marketing campaigns, such as email marketing, event marketing, and online advertising. Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed to achieve marketing objectives.

· Market Research: Conduct internal and external, both qualitative and quantitative, research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies. Use insights to inform marketing strategies and content development.

· Social Media Management: Manage the company’s social media profiles, ensuring engaging and brand-aligned content. Monitor social media trends and leverage opportunities for brand promotion.

· Vendor Coordination and Tradeshow Participation: Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and external agencies to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials and services. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships to ensure quality and cost-efficiency. Be enthusiastic about being “in the wild” as a company representative at tradeshows and events.

· Reporting: Analyze and report on the performance of marketing initiatives to senior management. Provide insights and recommendations for improving brand presence and marketing effectiveness.

Education, Knowledge and Skills:

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.

· Fairbanks based preferred. If Anchorage based, ability to maintain a consistent travel schedule to Fairbanks HQ is required.

· Job experience in marketing preferred.

· Able to understand and use computer software and hardware, including proficiency in Windows/Microsoft applications, Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva.

· Able to understand and operate hardware for content creation (DSLR camera, GoPro, iPhone).

· Interest and passion for digital content creation.

· Strong written and oral communication skills that include the ability to listen to, read, understand, write and speak English well enough to communicate, understand, train and respond; effectively conveying information to others, and giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking the time to understand the points being made, and asking questions as appropriate.

· Able to present and communicate in a professional manner.

· Self-motivate and work independently to accomplish goals, prioritizing and effectively managing time to complete tasks, thoroughly, accurately and timely.

· Valid Alaska Driver’s License required, with current driving record sufficient to meet company insurance standards required.

· Able to lift 40 lbs.

· Able to perform with sufficient physical ability and mobility to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of computer keyboard; to travel to other locations; to verbally communicate to exchange information; to see and hear within a reasonable range for an office environment with or without correction.

Work Location: Equipment Source Inc.

Hours: Generally, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with flexibility for evenings, weekends and travel as needed

Minimum Age: 21
