The customer service representative is responsible for developing new leads through their outside sales representative or through customer needs. They should communicate with their customers, understand their needs, and ensure a smooth sales process. A top Inside Sales Representative should also be driven and a good listener. This position performs a variety of customer service and inside sales functions. Some of the duties include communicating to customers either in person, on the phone, or via email and discussing the type and quantity of the parts they are needing. They provide estimates or quote prices, credit terms, invoices, and delivery dates. They also communicate to the outside sales representatives and the shop team. Mechanical aptitude is required.
