The Securities Service Specialist will play an important role in the completion of research and duplicate statement requests. May support additional reconciliation tasks as assigned.

Business Function

The selected candidate will support the Research and Response functions within Services Operations with the completion of research requests submitted by shareowners to provide historical statements, research historical stock records, confiscate invalid stock certificates and reject non-agent requests. In addition, the team member may support reconciliation tasks as assigned. The team member will be required to gain a thorough understanding of all requirements associated with the Research and Reconciliation functions and any interrelated functions within Shareowner Services departments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Works independently and as a team to complete daily Research tasks
• Ability to comprehend moderate to complex operational processes and their interrelationship
• Customer service focus: actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs and recommending solutions
• Establish standard processes and execution of research inquiries
• Support reconciliation tasks as assigned

Experience Requirements

• 3 years of operations experience, analytical experience, reporting experience, or a combination
• Financial services experience

Education Requirements

• High school Diploma or equivalent GED.
• College degree preferred, but not required.
