Test Planning:
Collaborate with engineering teams to understand turbo expander design specifications and testing objectives.
Develop detailed test plans, including test procedures, schedules, and resource requirements.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations throughout the testing process.
Test Setup and Operation:
Set up and configure test rigs, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems for turbo expander testing.
Operate turbo expander equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
Monitor test conditions and make real-time adjustments as necessary to maintain accurate and consistent data.
Perform final functional check for all electrical components of the Turboexpander skid.
Data Collection and Analysis:
Collect and record data from various sensors and instruments during turboexpander tests.
Analyze test results to assess performance parameters, such as efficiency, pressure ratios, and temperature profiles.
Identify deviations from expected performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare comprehensive test reports summarizing findings, including data analysis, observations, and recommendations.
Document test procedures, setup configurations, and any modifications made during testing.
Communicate results and findings to cross-functional teams and management.
Test Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance and calibration of test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Identify and address any equipment malfunctions or deficiencies promptly.
Coordinate with other engineering teams for more extensive equipment repairs or upgrades.
Continuous Improvement:
Collaborate with design engineers to implement design improvements based on test results and feedback.
Investigate new testing methods, technologies, and best practices to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of turboexpander testing.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to turboexpander testing and compliance.
Highest Level of Education Required for this Position:
Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred.
Qualifications (IE SAP Experience, Excel Knowledge, Any Certifications, Years of Experience in Certain Fields):
•Ability to read mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and electrical schematics
PPE Requirements if any: Steel toe shoes. The rest of the PPE will be provided
Working Conditions: (IE Office, Warehouse, Ect) Warehouse/Outside
