Many of our clients have challenging behaviors.Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic ISL Manager who is a certified Registered Behavior Technician to provide behavioral support services to the individuals in our community based residential program. The ISL Manager will conduct individual therapy sessions, assist with behavior treatment planning, implement specific behavioral protocols, and provide support to the supervising BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).The ISL Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading a team of employees who are directly involved in the day-to-day service delivery empowering those with developmental disabilities to achieve their highest levels of social, physical, and emotional well-being. The ISL Manager will also be responsible for evaluating staff and ensuring achievement of key performance outcomes as well as evidence of progress and goal attainment of personal outcomes by our clients.Essential Functions:
Assist program management in assuring consistency in service and the delivery of high-quality standards of key care in areas such as supporting independence and self-determination in community membership; activities of daily living, including but not limited to:
Reviewing daily shift notes in Therapy
Participate in weekly grocery and household supplies shopping and budgeting
Accompany clients to designated outings on a daily basis as part of ABA therapy program, which may include transporting the client/staff
Maintain email and phone communication with guardians and external teams about key issues and general well-being
Provide oversight to staff of environmental cleanliness
Maintaining a safe and healthy environment and managing personal health
Provide direct ABA therapy for a minimum of 30 hours per week across multiple settings as appropriate for each client
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by BCBAs
Collect data to monitor progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan.
Provide regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals.
Support the BCBA with training staff and caregivers on implementing procedures outlined in the treatment plan.
Participate in all applicable team meetings and training workshops.
Follow all guidelines, regulations, and maintain RBT certification as defined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
Ensure the client is always in a safe and positive environment.
Management Job Duties
Provide team leadership via leading and managing a team of direct support professionals (DSP). This includes providing guidance, direction, and support to team members to ensure they are productive, motivated, and promoting positive and effective interpersonal work relationships.
Evaluate Direct Support Professional’s performance via setting performance goals, conducting regular performance reviews, and providing feedback and coaching to help employees improve.
Problem solve challenges and obstacles that may arise amongst their direct reports, this includes identifying problems, analyzing root causes, and developing solutions.
Accessible for emergency situations that may arise after hours, to include, hospitalizations, client staffing, and personnel issues.
Medical/hospital intervention and advocacy to make sure that clients receive the appropriate level of care. Communicates and documents hospitalizations to staff and senior managers in a timely manner.
Oversight of accurate and timely submission of documentation in Therapy to comply with agency monthly metrics.
You will be successful if you have:
RBT preferred not required agency will assist in obtaining training
High School Diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of Autism or Developmental Disabilities in the following fields: Behavioral Health, Residential, Day Program, ISL
Drivers License and proof of auto insurance, with a reliable means to transport during your shift
Class E Drivers License within 90 days of employment
Ability to work in teams while maintaining a positive and solution focused attitude
Desire to continuously learn and develop skill sets
Demonstrate examples of living our core values of kindness, accountability, urgency and integrity
Be community oriented and driven to do things for the betterment of our internal community
Willingness to work in an ISL home environment
English proficiency, both verbal and written, is required
Be able to lift up to 30 lbs
