Summary

Under the responsibility of the site manager, the maintenance planner is the person responsible for the planning, coordination and scheduling of preventive maintenance work, corrective work and minor projects.

Responsibilities

Planning :

• Carry out EHS risk analyses before the start of the work (lockout, confined spaces, working at heights, etc.); Ensure compliance of contractors and their workers.
• Preparation of the necessary documentation for the work (procedures, permits, etc.)
• Identify the required labour, materials required, subcontractors and tools needed to carry out the work safely.
• Identify the scope of work; Estimate response time and potential production downtime as required.

Coordination :

• Coordinate with operations when the work will be carried out
• Identify the employees who will carry out the work.
• Monitor weekly work planning and make changes as needed.

Scheduling :

• Assign work orders to employees / contractors and closely monitor the work
• Document relevant information (service report, photos, recommendations, etc.) in the work order management system.
• Perform required updates in computer software.
• Measure and improve the company's ability to meet the established schedule. (KPI)

Other :

• Documentation of legislative inspections for the client.
• Participate in the development of management tools to ensure effective planning
• Participation in reliability improvement projects
• Propose improvements to the preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance program
• PO management
• Customer invoicing
• All other related tasks.

Requirements

• Is authorized to work in the US;
• DVS in Industrial Mechanics, DVS in Electromechanics or any combination of education and / or experience may be considered;
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience;
• Able to be on-call when managers on vacation;
• Significant technical experience in building mechanics;
• Knowledge of the Office suite;
• Experience with maintenance management software;
• Able to pass a security screening at the required level;
• Able to pass a medical examination.
