Epworth Children's Home is Hiring a Transitional Independent Living Program Director Near Columbia, SC

Position Summary: The Transitional Independent Living Program Director is responsible for the oversight, staff supervision, and coordination of services to at-risk and high-risk youth enrolled in the Epworth Transitional Independent Living Program. Qualifications: Professionally licensed practitioner of the healing arts (LPHA) with current licensure in South Carolina (LPC, LISW, LMFT) preferred. Provisional license with full licensure obtained within 18 to 24 months OR license eligible and successfully complete the licensure exam within 6 months of hire with a passing score is required while also working toward meeting required supervision hours to obtain full licensure within 18 to 24 months post obtaining provisional licensure status. Minimum of three to five years of experience working in a mental health or group residential setting with at least two years of progressively responsible management experience. Proficient in behavioral health screening and assessment, treatment planning, and individual and group therapeutic interventions. Proficient with various software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and electronic communication. Ability to learn new database(s)/technology as required. Must be able to pass standard background checks, including drug screen, employment physical, SLED, DSS Central Registry and Sex Offenders Registry. Has a belief system and engages in faith practices that are compatible with those of the United Methodist Church.
