As a client Director specializing in the Alcohol and Beverage vertical within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector, you will play a pivotal role in fostering strong client partnerships and driving revenue growth for Digital Media. We are seeking an individual with exceptional business acumen, capable of understanding client needs and aligning them with tailored Digital Media solutions to achieve their business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Partnership:
    • Develop and maintain strong client partnerships, creating win/win outcomes that drive revenue growth for Digital Media.
    • Utilize general business acumen to uncover business needs and align them with Digital Media solutions, ensuring clients achieve their goals.
  • Solution Delivery:
    • Lead internal resources to prepare and deliver objective-based solutions for clients.
    • Employ a consultative approach and creativity to customize sales solutions, addressing clients' compelling events and helping them meet their goals.
  • Account Management:
    • Facilitate day-to-day management of client accounts, both internally and externally.
    • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including the partner strategy team, marketing, analytics, legal, compliance, and key decision-makers within the organization.
  • Industry Understanding:
    • Quickly learn and understand the landscape in which the client operates within the Alcohol and Beverage vertical of the CPG industry.
    • Address client needs in a competitive and meaningful manner.
  • Negotiation and Roadmap Development:
    • Negotiate with client decision-makers to create positive outcomes for Digital Media and the client.
    • Develop a roadmap for success over time, focusing on client satisfaction, growth, and building trust to become the Client’s Trusted Advisor.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience managing CPG digital campaigns with a proven track record of renewing and growing revenue from existing clients.
  • Familiarity with how CPG clients leverage Retailer Media Networks and utilize 2nd and 3rd Party Retailer data for campaign activations and attribution.
  • 10 years of professional sales and marketing business experience.
  • Client management or sales experience (client-side, ad solutions, direct marketing, agency experience).
  • Multi-disciplined marketer with expertise across key marketing components, including strategy, analytics, media performance, and forecasting.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to identify opportunities, new business, and market gaps.
  • Comfortable with consultative sales and solution selling.
  • Strong business and strategic planning acumen.
  • Solid quantitative background with an understanding of analytic tools and techniques.
  • Understanding of marketing program design, execution, and measurement.
  • Strong negotiation skills and effective communication across multiple levels of an organization.
  • Works well in a team/highly collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated sales and business development experience.
  • Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint, and proficiency in Sales Management software (i.e., Salesforce.com).
  • BA/BS with a strong academic record, preferred. MBA a plus.
