Position Summary

The Warehouse Assistant will assist the warehouse(s) and its activities. This employee will ensure the warehouse is clean and in good standing, the tools, trucks, and machinery are clean, and that minor repairs are scheduled and performed on those items if needed.

Essential Job Functions

• Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping requirements.
• Maintain standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security.
• Work alongside crews, suppliers, and transport companies to complete all daily tasks.
• Receive incoming shipments, verify their contents, sort, and organize the inventory.
• Inspect products for damages or defects.
• Assist in minor repairs of equipment, as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Extremely punctual, your attendance is key.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and be able to comfortably drive many different types of vehicles.
• Prior warehouse experience, required.
• Inventory and basic mechanical experience, preferred.

Working Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to indoor conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
