A global food industry company is seeking a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate.

Duties:

• Participate in the morning production such as packing dry, frozen, fresh, and tuna.
• Cut fish for fillet orders.
• Unload and receive products by using pallet jack and forklift.
• Drives delivery trucks to customers and stays overnight as needed.
• Checks products on loading dock and assembles them according to customer orders.
• Loads and unloads products into and from truck.
• Reviews invoices and matches them to ensure that orders are accurate and locates missing products and/or initiate corrections.
• Collects checks or cash payments from customers.
• Reports product returns or complaints from customers to the office.
• Completes DOT driver logs, pre-trip and post-trip inspection reports, temperature log paper and any other documents required.
• Attends weekly meetings with Coordinators and Delivery Manager.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum 1 – 3 months of related experience driving delivery trucks or vans.
• Ability to use pallet jack and forklift.
• Fluent in English written and verbal communication.

Work conditions:

• 5:30am (5:00am on Tuesday) to 2:30pm hours of operation
• Operates delivery trucks, hand-trucks and cell phones.
• Works irregular work shifts.
• Daily exposure to refrigerated or frozen process areas, and loading docks.
• Outside weather exposure when visiting customers.
• Medium physical effort required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
