Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Waterloo, Iowa

We are currently searching for a Material Handler to become a part of our team and provide support to our inventory control and material handling processes. Prior knowledge in SAP is desirable for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee material procurement, warehouse organization, distribution, and inventory control.
• Collaborate with teams from different areas of work to determine material requirements and plan procurement strategies.
• Monitor inventory levels and generate reports to optimally maintain stock and ensure availability.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and maintain a strong professional relationship.
• Use SAP or other material management software to keep accurate records.
• Maintain a safe and organized warehouse while following safety protocols.
• Perform routine audits and participate in inventory counts.
• Provide support to the production team and solve material-related issues.

Requirements:

• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in supply chain management is a plus.
• Prior experience in material coordination, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in SAP or comparable material management software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of inventory control principles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
