Position Summary

Pharmacy Technician's are responsible for accurately entering new pharmacy orders, contacting patients, shipping prescriptions, packaging prescriptions and additional Pharmacy operation tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Accurately types new orders
• Possesses complete and thorough understanding of medications
• Understands prescribed orders for compounded medications
• Maintains production standards and levels
• Performs other work-related duties as deemed appropriate by pharmacists on duty
• May be needed to assist with Shipping and Packaging when needed.

• Demonstrate ability to work on your own, and in a team to accomplish given tasks
• Must be able to work in a fast paced and changing environment
• Accurate data entry skills
• Able to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement; this may include using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and be able to compute rate, ration, and percentage

Experience and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician
• 2 years of pharmacy experience preferred
• Basic proficiency with computer software

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
