Epic Special Education Staffing is Hiring a Manager of Performance Improvement Near Geneva, NY

Job Details

A Health Care System in Upstate, NY has immediate need for a permanent Manager of Performance Improvement. This person will be responsible for overseeing - Serves as the organization's Administrator of the event reporting system. This includes evaluating event data and preparing and presenting associated reports. Assigns investigation to the appropriate department director/manager for follow up. The Coordinator or Event Reporting & Nursing Quality works collaboratively with the VP of Nursing and nursing leadership on nursing quality improvement projects and other special projects. He/she also has Patient Safety Responsibilities, which include working collaboratively with the Director of Quality and Performance Improvement and the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to provide support for the patient safety program in acute care.
Requirements
NYS License to practice as Registered Nurse
Minimum: Graduate from an accredited Registered professional Nurse Program, Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or related field
Preferred: Masters in Nursing or related field
Certifications Required : BLS certification required through the RQI system during clinical orientation.
Certifications Preferred: CPPS, CPHQ, CPHRM or equivalent certification is preferred.
A minimum of 4 years experience as a Registered Nurse including at least one year working in a quality or patient safety role
Estimated Pay
We provide a competitive range of compensation for this position. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience and specific worksite location. It is possible that this position can be hired outside of this salary range based on experience.
