Job Description:

As the Lead Clinical LVN, you will serve as a key member of our clinical team, providing leadership, guidance, and direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Nurse Manager. Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day clinical operations of the facility, including staffing assignments, scheduling, and delegation of duties
• Providing direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers, monitoring residents' health status and vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living
• Serving as a mentor and resource for LVNs and other nursing staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality care delivery
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans, and participating in care conferences and meetings as needed
• Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations related to nursing practice, infection control, and resident care
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the ongoing development and enhancement of clinical policies and procedures
• Documenting all care provided accurately and in accordance with regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Current, valid license or certification in California as an LVN
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a healthcare setting, preferably in a long-term care or recuperative care facility
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles and practices
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed
