Range: $12 to $18 per hour, depending on previous experience

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experienced preferred as we are a very busy restaurant.
• The pizza maker/line cook's responsibilities include preparing pizza dough, cutting, grating, or slicing various ingredients, and removing pizza debris from the pizza ovens. You should also be able to maintain a clean workstation at all times.
• Ensures cooking stations are sanitized and prepped with necessary tools
• Prepares and stores pizza dough
• Prepares pizza sauces
• Checks quality of pizzas before they’re served to guests
• Performs regular maintenance on kitchen equipment
• Collaborates with staff on menu items
• Makes sure the kitchen is clean and sanitized
• Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
• Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and snacks
• Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
• Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
• Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
