WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Peer Recovery Specialist you will deliver mentoring and supportive direct care services to clients in substance use disorder recovery. Utilizing your lived experience, you will engage with clients to develop and build skills toward a meaningful and individualized recovery plan. A successful candidate must be willing to self-identify as a person with direct personal experience living in recovery from mental health and/or substance use conditions.
This is a full-time position at 40 hours weekly and includes the following responsibilities:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Services a plus. Must have lived experience with substance use or mental health with at least two years of current sustained recovery. Certified as a Peer Recovery Specialist by the Florida Certification Board preferred. Plus:
