EPIC Brokers is Hiring a Remote Sr. Healthcare Product Analyst (1528)

Our Artemetrx SaaS technology is the leading tool for utilizing integrated data to advise the largest healthcare payers on drug optimization strategies.

We are currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst to help us build a next-generation solution to solve one of healthcare’s greatest areas of opportunities, predicting the utilization and cost of new high-cost medication therapies. This position requires a candidate willing to dive into the details and ensure high-quality development of product features and applications with the ability to understand the technical and data architecture of our organization.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop business requirements for the development of our healthcare SaaS application, encompassing complex algorithms based on varied and unstructured data.
  • Understand the business processes and business requirements and translate them to product requirements artifacts such as user stories.
  • Help to ensure that the requirements management and facilitation best practices are adhered to, including management of artifacts through traceability, version control, and change control.
  • Function as a Technology Business Analyst by understanding business requirements and transforming those requirements into data mapping and technical specifications.
  • Effectively communicate with business and delivery teams to deliver user interface requirements using UI mock-ups or wireframes.
  • Utilize SQL, PowerBI, and other tools to analyze data and collaborate with others to refine and improve business requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience analyzing and/or modeling healthcare medical data required (Examples include medical procedures, health conditions, and/or provider practices)
  • Demonstrated experience working on a software development team, including writing requirements and user stories and seeing through to implementation.
  • Working knowledge of database applications, including using SQL to extract data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and discipline to multitask and prioritize projects to meet scheduled deadlines.
  • Professionally interact with a diverse group of stakeholders, including executives, managers, clients, and subject matter experts, both technical and non-technical
  • Experience analyzing data, with the ability to think logically and process sequentially with a high level of detail and accuracy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Analytics/Informatics, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or Financial Discipline and/or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint (advanced knowledge in Excel a plus)
  • Ability to travel (up to 25%)
  • Knowledge of PBM industry and pharmacy claims is strongly preferred
  • PowerBI experience preferred

Salary and Benefits

The national average salary for this role is $130,000-150,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
