```Duties```

- Organize and maintain patient health information in electronic and paper formats

- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of medical records

- Review medical records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulations

- Assign appropriate codes to diagnoses and procedures for billing and reimbursement purposes

- Compile and analyze data from medical records to support research, quality improvement, and other healthcare initiatives

- Release medical information to authorized individuals or organizations in accordance with legal requirements

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care

```Experience```

- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred

- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology

- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
