EPC is located in the center of a high-tech commercial park in Poway, CA, with another factory in Simpsonville, SC, to meet the demands of its rapidly growing customer base. The Role:

The Project Coordinator will own every aspect of sold inverter and/or spare parts projects after the purchase order (PO) from customer, until the time that the project is ready to be commissioned or turned on in the field. These projects could be as small as 1-2 parts, or as large as 100 . This includes detailed coordination with customers of different kinds, from small contractors to large international companies. The Project Coordinator will additionally interface internally with people from almost all the internal teams at EPC. The role offers a good variety of tasks with organization, scheduling, customer satisfaction, and follow up being critical. Being able to identify and differentiate technical parts by part number is important. Growth opportunity would include promotion to Project Manager if leadership skills are appropriate. 

Due to the interactive nature of the role, office work is required most of the time, but EPC is flexible, allowing employees to work from home when needed. The Project Coordinator should live close enough to commute to Poway, CA daily. 

Responsibilities:

? Own inverter and/or spare parts projects from PO until Commissioning

? Coordinate with customers and EPC sales, purchasing, manufacturing, logistics, finance, project engineers, and service teams to ensure successful deliveries

? Ensure all commercial and schedule aspects of project are clear and appropriate – get handoff from sales

? Send Order Confirmations to customers

? Document, file and organize project information

? Manage order entry, change orders, and deliveries in ERP system (SAP)

? Ensure bills of materials for inverters and skids are conveyed from project engineering to manufacturing

? Schedule and run kick off meetings with customers, as well as all necessary follow up

? Document commercial items as needed

? Drive project scheduling, management, and delivery

? Handoff project to commissioning team

? Create warranty documentation for customers

? Recommend and implement risk assessment and abatement plan to meet project budgets and targets

? Identify, resolve, and communicate resolution on customer issues, escalating unresolved issues to immediate manager

? Identify opportunities and provide recommendations to business unit for improvements on sales management and project execution processes

? Serve as single point of contact for customers on assigned projects

? Process creation and improvement

? Perform other related duties as assigned by management 

Requirements

? Bachelor's degree ideal, but not required 

? 1-5 years experience in project coordination or project management

? Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in fast paced environment

? Strong interpersonal skills & good customer service mentality

? Proactive attitude 

? Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

? Experience in Microsoft and Google environments
