POSITION OVERVIEW: Doing all the radio and satellite device repairs in-house. Based out of Bay Area, position to have off-set/rotating hours with peers for global and weekend on-call. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Serve as a subject matter expert on radio communications technology, keeping abreast of the latest training, advancements, and industry best practices - Motorola WAVE, TLK100, TLK150, WAVE PTX app, WAVE Dispatch Console and satellite communication systems.
• Maintain, repair, and perform maintenance on a global fleet of radio subscribers to ensure optimal functionality.
• Write and implement programming for 60 radio sites to enable efficient and effective communication protocols.
• Respond to active dispatch application outages, filling in global support gaps when necessary.
• Travel in direct support of the Office CEO, Production, and Executive Protection teams to provide custom communications systems for major company events in diverse environments and climates.
• Work closely with Facilities Data Center Communications SMEs on joint Data Center communications efforts, including DAS integrations, signal coverage testing, upgrades, and more.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Performed advanced technical support activities, installation, configuration, test, and deployment of radio systems and related software including repeaters, mobile and portable radios.
• Two years experience – radio rental, police, fire, and government radio programs. 
• Networking experience – prior IT network experience a plus.
