The Field Service Representative (FSR) will support, train, maintain and repair EOS manufactured Remote Weapons Stations (RWS) in EOS facilities and deployed in the field by our Armed Service customers. The FSR will maintain, repair as necessary, make engineering changes and upgrades, and train operators as required. The successful incumbent will be an expert in the operation and firing of the weapon. The FSR will have the proven ability to conduct research and learn systems utilizing written references and manuals. This technician will regularly act as the face of EOS to potential and actual customers and the Soldiers, Marines and SOF Operators that will employ the systems.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to calls for service and repair to EOS manufactured Remote Weapons Stations (RWS)
- Service and repair units as required, perform engineering modifications and upgrades
- The FSR will perform other services that may be requested by the Customer within reason
- Understanding of how to employ and maintain calibrated tools and equipment
- Firing weapons mounted on an RWS, a knowledge of the companies that manufacture RWS systems around the world
- Practice teaching servicemembers about technical subjects and experience dealing with Government elements that purchase and operate RWS systems
- Experience in handling explosive ammunition and weaponry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Positive personal presence and ability to represent the company are required
- Ability to travel 45-50% domestic and internationally
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
- BA/BS degree in a related field or applicable experience
- 3 years maintaining, operating, firing and training on RWS's
- Experience trouble shooting complex mechanical systems using common tools and reference materials
- Standard Driver's License
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance
- Valid (unexpired) Passport
