Emmons & Olivier Resources, Inc. (EOR) has an immediate opening at our Saint Paul, Minnesota office. EOR is an engineering and environmental consulting firm that specializes in: WATER (watersheds water resources), ECOLOGY (ecosystems natural resources) and COMMUNITY (civil engineering, landscape architecture planning).

Brief Description:

We are seeking a dynamic individual who can support our growing planning team! This individual would aid in the development of watershed management plans, local surface water plans, natural resource management plans, and climate adaptation plans.
The ideal candidate would have a good understanding of water resources management, land use planning, climate change assessments and be experienced in community engagement including planning and facilitating meetings to build consensus. This role requires conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences and helping clients manage a wide array of complex issues.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or similar
• 5 years of Planning experience
• 5 years of stakeholder and community engagement including with state, Tribal and local governments
• Understanding of storm water management and watershed management
• Knowledge of DEI principles, theories, and best practice in the context of urban and regional planning

Education/Experience Preferences:

• 4 years of experience with integrating sustainability and climate related work into planning work
• Certification in facilitation, meeting management or related field (i.e. Certified Professional Facilitator or Certified Meeting Professional)
• Project Management skills
• Understanding of consulting field
• Database management skills
• Graphic design skills for visuals creation
