Role Description

We are looking for a talented, self-motivated software developer to make great software. Someone who doesn’t give up until the problem is solved. This person will work in both an architectural and feature development capacity. Experience with Scrum Agile software development is a major plus. This role will include database architecture, feature development and testing of both existing and new features. Super Smash Bros skill might come in handy as well.

This role is fully remote with occasional in person meetings at our offices in Grand Rapids, MI. Ideal candidate would be located near west Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Design of platform architecture
• Lead the development of new Epics
• Review PRs / handling merging
• Comfortable working in a fast paced highly collaborative scrum process
• Help to continually improve our development process
• Provide guidance on architecture and framework choices 
• Mentor the other members of the development team
• Production deployments

Skills Desired

• Full stack development
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript 
• Experience with React, Redux, AdonisJS, Webpack, Postgres, HTML/CSS
• Test Driven Development
• Experience with Git
• AWS experience a plus
• Familiarity with Atlassian suite of products a plus
