Requirements
Oversees the development and ensures the implementation of the programs to enhance the social, occupational, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical condition at all locations.
Oversees timely completion of program documentation that may be required in all areas of the organization, including but not limited to quarterly activity documentation, care plan, attendance records, and one on one interaction.
Supervise Life Enrichment Assistant to ensure they are knowledgeable and successful in implementing programs and interacting with residents.
Participate in organization supported and position required on-going education and training, to keep up to date and ensure successful program performance.
Oversees department compliance with federal and state regulations and oversees and assists with survey preparation and assist with survey process.
Oversees the welcoming of new residents and have department members introduce residents to the activity program. Supervise the evaluation of individual needs and concerns. Communicate with activity and neighborhood staff to design a comprehensive activity plan for each resident.
Oversees outside volunteers and paid entertainment for purposes of activity programming.
Coordinate intergenerational events relating to recreation with area schools and churches.
Oversee each facility's budget. Responsible for overseeing the purchasing of supplies/materials for scheduled crafts/recreational activities.
Develop and implement new policies and procedures as needed.
Participate in continuing education courses to keep certifications current
