Schedule: Monday through Friday during clinic hours 7:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. (8 hour shifts) 

Job Description: Surgical Scheduler (North Scottsdale) 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Surgical Scheduler to act as a front-end representative and support our care coordinators with patient specific administrative tasks. This position will be responsible for welcoming patients, scheduling, documentation, referrals, and other administrative tasks as needed. Our ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and have superb customer service skills 

Surgical Schedulers are expected to work closely with our medical and administrative team to create an excellent patient experience while always maintaining an upbeat compassionate disposition. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to connect with patients and make an impact though healthcare administration. 

Surgical Scheduler Job Responsibilities: 

• Coordinating internal schedules and booking patient procedures, appointments, and referrals. 

• Responsible for checking in patients and guests with a welcoming attitude. 

• Ensure all necessary medical documentation is processed according to standard procedures. 

• Answer phone calls professionally and direct them to the appropriate department. 

• Ensure communication with patients and internal departments is accounted for and each party has a clear understanding of pertinent information. 

• Coordinate with clinic staff to follow up on patient requests. 

• Responsible for front desk administrative duties including scanning paperwork, data entry, and general organization. 

• Maintain patient confidence and protect business operations by keeping information confidential.

• Must be able to learn and assimilate information rapidly 

• Must be cheerful and exude positive energy that helps patients feel you are caring for them 

• Must be a self-starter and be able to create structure within their own environment
