If so, Envista Forensics is currently seeking highly motivated students for summer internships. This internship opportunity seeks to collaborate with the right candidate to provide an introduction to the world of forensic and consulting engineering. You will experience all facets of forensic engineering consulting including, but not limited to, technical research, report writing, site inspections, and milestone projects. You will receive coaching and mentorship provided by the Team Leads as well as access to all engineering and core functions of the company. This paid internship program is from May 2024 to August 2024. Envista offers successful interns the potential to transition into a full-time job post-graduation. Job Description: As a Digital Forensic Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of digital forensics, working closely with our experienced team of forensic analysts, examiners, and team leaders. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills in conducting digital investigations and analyzing electronic evidence. Key Responsibilities: Assist in collecting, preserving, and analyzing digital evidence from various sources such as computers, mobile devices, and network logs. Learn and utilize forensic tools and techniques to extract, analyze, and interpret data in support of investigations. Document findings and prepare clear, concise reports detailing investigative processes and outcomes. Collaborate with team members to support ongoing investigations and contribute to the development of new forensic methodologies. Stay abreast of emerging trends, tools, and technologies in digital forensics through continuous learning and professional development activities. Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program, such as Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, or a related field. Strong interest in digital forensics and a desire to pursue a career in this field. Basic understanding of computer systems, operating systems, and file systems. Familiarity with forensic tools and software (e.g., Cellebrite, Magnet Axiom, FTK) is a plus but not required. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
