We are currently seeking a Weekend Admissions Hospice Registered Nurse , who is passionate about providing quality care to patients and families within the King, Pierce, Thurston, Kitsap county area.

Must have at least a year of experience working for a Hospice company or agency. 

We can be flexible with schedule as long as the RN in this role can also cover Saturdays and Sundays. This position can be Full Time, Part Time or PRN.

Admission RN responsibilities:

• Primary job is to Admit new referrals into our care for Hospice (and Home Health as needed).
• Coordinating all aspects of the interdisciplinary care and services provided to hospice and home health patients and their families.
• Provides education and advocates families and patients
• Develops, implements and reviews healthcare plans, documentation of care, Nursing assessments, Symptom management
• Promotes comfort and quality of life.

Job Requirements:

• Must have at least a year of experience working for a Hospice Company or Agency
• Current RN license to practice in the State of WA and CPR certification.
• Current WA driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Excellent communication skills
• Minimum of two years nursing experience in any setting.
• Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate excellent observation, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills, nursing skills per competency checklist.
• Shows ability to organize and prioritize workload independently.
