We are currently seeking a Full-Time, Hospice Team Assistant for our busy hospice business office in Tacoma, WA .

Responsibilities include:

• Meet visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing, and announcing them appropriately.
• Answering, screening, and forwarding phone calls, and receiving, and sorting daily mail.
• Develops a cooperative relationship and communicates effectively and professionally with patients, families, co-workers, and referral sources.
• Preparing IDT agendas, tracking Face-to-face schedules, staff, and patient scheduling, reporting statistical data, ordering office supplies, and other office support functions as requested.
• Assist the director with onboarding new employees.

Job Requirements:

• High school degree or GED
• Home Health or Hospice experience is highly preferred but not required.
• Experience scheduling patients in a medical setting.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite - Word/Excel/Outlook)
• Effective communication, positive attitude, and team player
• Excellent customer service skills and commitment to quality patient care
• Knowledge of medical terminology a plus
