This position is responsible for developing a collaborative culture among the operational teams, providers, and clients for superior service and patient outcomes. This position has direct oversight of operations teams. The Sr. Director, Operations is additionally responsible for enhancing operations and has financial accountability for budget and P&L management.

Responsibilities

Essential functions and responsibilities

• Fosters and enhances client and provider relationships; develops consistent deliverables to healthcare partners
• Develops and monitors engagement economics and results
• Oversees the Recruiting & Scheduling of provider placements
• Responsible for strategic planning, monitoring, and execution of metrics to ensure revenue, business line performance to budget, profitability, business goals and objectives are achieved
• Assists in negotiation of client and provider contracts and the daily coordination and management of operational issues with clients and providers
• Drives interdepartmental communications to improve efficiency
• Works with Managers and Directors to identify and achieve strategic departmental needs
• Develops and implements departmental changes to support projected organizational growth
• Expands the efficiency of existing organizational process and procedures to enhance and sustain internal capacity
• Leads, motivates, and supports direct reports
• Defines departmental roles and responsibilities to enhance customer experience and responsible for evaluating, selecting, implementing, enhancing and expanding new workflow processes to service more clients and providers
• Is a key participant in developing responses to RFP’s, presenting proposals and directing/overseeing bid/survey rate requests
• Oversees finance initiatives including collections, cost reduction and maximization of profits
• Manages financing processes and reporting including monthly P&L statements, reconciliations, accounts receivables, quarterly forecasting, and annual budgeting
• Completes special projects as assigned and in a timely manner
• Performs additional duties as requested by management

Qualifications

Qualifications required:

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline required, Master’s degree in healthcare administration or business administration preferred
• Five (5) or more years in health care, specifically managing the in the physician/advanced practitioner practice environment or experience directly working with recruiting organizations
