Envision Radiology is looking for a Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management to join our team!
Position Pay Range $143,200 - $179,000. Opportunity for additional, discretionary bonus available. | Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM.
Position will be required to be in-office, Colorado Springs, CO.

Summary/Objective:

The VP - Revenue Cycle Management is tasked with leading the Envision revenue cycle operations, ensuring optimal revenue integrity, managing payer relations, and overseeing the integration and efficiency of revenue systems. This role involves strategic oversight of billing, claims management, and the utilization of advanced technologies, including AI, to enhance revenue collection processes. By focusing on contract negotiations, credentialing, and maintaining robust payer relationships, this role aims to maximize reimbursement and streamline financial operations, contributing to the organization's overall financial health and operational efficiency.

Essential Functions

  1. Leads and manages core revenue cycle operations to promote efficiency while decreasing the overall cost to collect.
  2. Directs the enhancement and integration of revenue systems, including billing software, clearinghouses, and AI technologies, to optimize revenue cycle efficiency.
  3. Manages the revenue integrity function, ensuring accurate charge capture, coding practices, and resolution of payment variances to secure maximum reimbursement.
  4. Leads strategic payer relations, including contracting, credentialing processes, and establishing strong payer partnerships to improve reimbursement rates and minimize denials.
  5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Joint Venture partners, aiming to implement effective managed care strategies and secure accurate contractual payments.
  6. Analyzes historical data, market trends, and payer reimbursement patterns to project future revenue, enabling strategic planning and decision-making to enhance fiscal stability and growth.
  7. Conducts comprehensive financial analysis and reporting, providing actionable insights for revenue optimization and cost reduction strategies.
  8. Champions the use of data analytics to identify trends and opportunities within the revenue cycle, implementing process improvements for sustained financial performance.
  9. Oversees the development and enforcement of policies and procedures that comply with healthcare regulations, ensuring a robust compliance and risk management framework.
  10. Facilitates cross-functional collaboration among departments to align efforts and achieve revenue cycle goals effectively.
  11. Promotes a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the revenue cycle operations to adapt to changing healthcare landscapes.
  12. Ensures the revenue cycle operations support an outstanding patient experience, throughout the entire patient financial care continuum.
  13. Guides and mentors revenue cycle team members, fostering a collaborative environment that attracts and retains top talent.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

  • Minimum seven years’ experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management or Healthcare Payer Relations.
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation
  • Strong communication skills & professional demeanor

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or equivalent education, training, and experience.
  • Master’s degree preferred
